Canyon Students got to learn all about college and careers during the month of March, and then the week before Spring Break we had our annual College Week. Students filled out questionnaires about colleges (Did you know that one college's mascot is the Fighting Pickle?), and lots of college swag was given out! Ask your student what they learned about college in March!

Canyon Elementary will be having a Parent Information Night Tuesday April 9, 2019 from 6-7pm in the Library.  

Body Safety presentation will then be taught to all students April 16-17.

Andria Beckham was born on August 22. She went to UVU and then USU for her Master’s degree. She has been a counselor for 7 years. Her favorite subjects in school are writing and science and her favorite author is JK Rowling. She loves soccer and her favorite teams to cheer for are Real Salt Lake and The San Francisco Giants. She loves traveling to places she’s never been, and she loves camping, hiking and playing soccer. She also loves spending time with her two daughters.

Jill Holt’s birthday is December 30th. She attended Payson High School, and for college she attended BYU. She has taught 5 years in 3rd grade, 5 years in Kindergarten, and 22 years in 2nd grade, with 32 years in all. Her favorite subject in school is language arts, but since she started teaching all day, she loves science and math. Her favorite sports team is her son’s team which is Spanish Fork Dons. In her free time, she loves to laugh with friends and family. Her favorite vacation she has been on is to Maui with all of her children and grandchildren.
