This week, our fabulous PTA sponsored a Teacher Appreciation Week. We were definitely spoiled! The decorations were amazing. We were treated to a massage, breakfast, lunch, Italian sodas, daily drawings for fantastic prizes, cookies, candy, and a spa certificate. We are so grateful for the support that our PTA gives us. Thank you so much!!

Jasmine Weier’s birthday is May 24. She went to BYU for school. She has been teaching for 3 years. Her favorite subject is writing. Her favorite author is JK Rowling. She likes volleyball and she cheers for the BYU Cougars. One thing she likes to do in her free time is to watch Netflix. Her favorite vacation is Door County, Michigan with her mom and sisters. She has a 2-year-old son, Jace, who makes life so much fun. She is currently trying to convince him to wear big boy pants.

This year's wax museum was amazing. Fifth-grade students learned about the presidents of the United States of America. Each student dressed up as a president or president's wife and gave a speech highlighting important events and facts about their assigned president. All classes and parents were invited to attend one of their performances. It was a great experience for all!
