Yes, you heard correctly.  If you walked into Canyon Elementary last week, and more specifically down the Fifth Grade Hall, you would have encountered many of our countries past Presidents and First Ladies.  If you were lucky enough to enter a Fifth Grade Classroom, you would have been priveleged to hear about their lives.  It was actually part of our annual Wax Museum.  Well done Fifth Grade.

A challenge has been given to all students to increase their reading during the month of March.  The challenge was presented during an assembly at the beginning of the month.  Everyone who completes the challenge will have their name entered into a drawing for Rodeo tickets or cowboy boots.  Each teacher has set their individual class requirements.  If you're not sure what that criteria is, check with your teacher.  Make sure you're reading, and GOOD LUCK!

The fifth and sixth grade students enjoyed an educational and exciting assembly presented by our DARE Officer and his K-9 dog.  Thank you!
