Canyon Parade

Submitted by kalani.reed on

Tuesday, May 12 was a great day for a parade. Canyon Faculty and staff decorated their cars, trucks, side by sides, and golf carts to see our Canyon students and families. It was so heartwarming to see the faces of those we have missed so much. It's great to be a Canyon Cougar Cub!

I have been so impressed with how hard my students are working! They are reading and writing and counting like crazy! I hope each of them knows how proud I am! I miss the kids! I miss their sweet smiling faces, hearing their excitement over a loose tooth, listening to their fun stories, and their hugs.

Message from Miss Washburn

I appreciate all the hard work that students have put in to their online learning. It's not easy working at home on your own and I am grateful for all the students who are doing their best! We have been home for a while and it can get discouraging not knowing when things will be back to normal but it has been fun to see all the creative things students are doing with their extra free time. I miss having morning meeting with my class and hearing what they have been up to.
