Message Ms. Nuzman

Submitted by kalani.reed on

At home, I sit in my big soft chair and enjoy the communications with my students and their parents! I am missing all of my students.

I miss seeing my students and hearing what they have to say. I miss having them share solutions to math problems with the whole class and I miss our read aloud and making mind maps.

Message from Mrs. Holt

I admire how both parents and students have adjusted to at-home learning. It has been so fun to see the cute, fun pictures and hear the recordings in response to the online learning activities. Students have been amazingly flexible and terrific problem solvers with this new way of learning. I am so proud of your efforts and I send my appreciation for all the parental support.

Art Gallery Night

Submitted by kalani.reed on

Canyon Elementary students had prepared for an Art Gallery Night on March 16. Unfortunately, it was canceled along with our school dismissal. Our art teacher, Mrs. Humphreys, students, and teachers worked so hard to prepare for this event. These pictures are a sampling of the art on display that night.

A first-grader works hard at doing her assignments at home. We miss having the students in our building and are so grateful for families as they work hard at home-learning.
