It is with heavy hearts that we say good-bye to a phenomenal PE teacher, Mr. Brad Brinkerhoff.  He will be teaching third grade in Provo.  Besides making PE so much fun, he has touched our hearts with his kindness and has taught us life lessons.  Thank you and good luck, Mr. Brinkerhoff.

Pizza Party!!

Submitted by jeanette.maughan on

Canyon Elementary is working hard at sharing the great things that are happening at our school.  Recently a contest was held in an attempt to let all our parents know about our informational and fun website.  The class who returned the largest percentage of notes earned a pizza party.  The students enjoyed the pizza, and we hope you enjoy our site.  Thanks for liking and sharing. :)

We are Thankful for Dictionaries!

Todd Harrison, with Bank of American Fork, has graciously provided all Canyon Elementary 3rd graders with their very own dictionaries. We are excited to learn how to use the dictionary throughout the year and even more excited for the Spelling Bee in May. Thanks Todd and Bank of American Fork. We are so grateful for your kindness.

Veterans Day

The Veterans Assembly is a favorite of the students at Canyon Elementary.  This year was no exception.  What an honor it is to hear real live Veterans talk about what this country means to them.  This year was extra special. One of our students won a bike from the "Play Unplugged Summer Program" and the award was given by his grandfather, a Veteran.
