Congratulations to our 2014-15 Canyon Student Council Members. Their campaign included writing an essay about leadership, making a poster, and preparing and giving a 1-2 minute speech in front of the entire 4th, 5th and 6th grades.
These grades then voted for their top 3 candidates, and the decision was made!
The student council is reponsible for helping with many events througout the year like Red Ribbon Week, canned food drive, Teddy Bear drive, Shamrock Grams, help with assemblies, Movie night, Bully blocker program, and some fellowshipping luncheons for students. They also recently got to go to a leadership conference at BYU where they learned about how to best serve and help students at their school.
This year we are excited to have such a great group of hard-working kids!
