It's official! There is now a whole new group of Radkids!  Radkids are students who know how to protect themselves from strangers.  Today was GRADUATION DAY!  It is impressive what these kids know and can do.  Radkids does not tell your child what we hope they will do, we actually teach, train and empower children with real skills so they can recognize, avoid, resist and if necessary escape violence or harm in their lives.  The three things they learn are; no one has the right to hurt them because they are important, they don't have the right to hurt anyone else including themselves unless someone is trying to physically hurt them, then they can stop them, and if anyone ever tries to trick or hurt them, it is not their fault and they can tell someone. To quote one of the new Radkids, "If I get in trouble, I now know what to do.  I'm a Radkid!"  If you would like more information on how you can be part of this great program, contact your local Sheriff's Office or Radkids.org.
