Mrs. Nuzman's Class Businesses
Mrs. Nuzman's class is full of creative geniuses. We had a great time at our business fair. There were games and toys and homemade joke books. We had a fortune teller and yummy lemonade. Here is one of our very popular activities.
Third Grade Businesses
Have you ever wanted to run your own business? Well, the third graders learned all about communities and businesses throughout the month of May and ended the unit with their own successful business. We have several entrepreneurs on our hands.
Touchdown School
Canyon Elementary was privileged to host an assembly with Tre Flowers from the Seattle Seahawks. PE teacher, Amy Christmas, entered the "Fuel Up for 60" contest through Dairy West and won this opportunity. During the assembly, Tre Flowers talked about healthy habits and answered questions. Students and teachers participated in relay races. Canyon Elementary was named a Touchdown School.

MVP Harlan
Canyon Elementary hit a grand slam on Wednesday, May 1, 2019. We celebrated our MVP "Most Valuable Principal", Mr. Harlan for National Principal's Day. Students and staff made sure Mr. Harlan knew he was appreciated by making posters, giving gifts, and decorating the school. Our PTA sponsored an all-star lunch of hot dogs, popcorn, and nachos. Canyon Elementary loves Mr. Harlan!!
