We are kicking off the month of April with the Fiesta Days Rodeo Reading Challenge. Yesterday the students learned about all the different events during a rodeo and some even got to participate in roping and barrel racing. Your child will bring home a calendar for them to keep track of the minutes they read and they will be entered into a drawing for prizes at the end of the month. There is also a traveling trophy for the school that has the most minutes read. Let's bring that to Canyon Elementary! Please watch for the calendar to come home and encourage your child to read!
