We had a very jolly visitor this morning during our assembly! We loved having Santa at Canyon this morning! We had a great morning singing songs together, and listening to the Canyon Choir!
What a week ful of fun!!! We performed our Christmas program, made gingerbread houses, and enjoyed Christmas treats galore!!! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from Miss Nuttall's 3rd grade class.
Reminder school will be out for Christmas break starting Monday December 20- December 31. School with resume January 3rd. Have a safe a fun break.
We had a wonderful time at our Christmas Sing Along Assembly today. Mrs. Peery even taught us how to use sign language while we sang Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer!
Canyon Elementary choir of 4th and 5th graders performed a Christmas concert last week despite the snowy weather. They sang such fun songs and harmonized beautifully. Several small groups performed as well. Thanks to Tammy Hutchings for being their director.

Altabank and The Spanish Fork Rotary Club donated dictionaries to EVERY 3rd grader here at Canyon Elementary. We are so excited for this new educational tool and can't wait to use them in class. We have already explored the biggest word in the English Language, Sign Language, states, presidents, and much more. If you have a 3rd grader ask them about their new dictionary.
