Our Orchestra recently performed for the 5th and 6th graders.  It's hard to believe that they couldn't play at all at the beginning of the year.  The concert was amazing!  Thank you for sharing your talents with us.

Recently the sixth graders went on a mission to space.  They went to the Space Center in Lehi and participated in a mission to save the children of Perikoi.  If you want to know how it turned out, ask a sixth grader.

And the winner of the Classified Employee of the Year for Canyon Elementary is........(drumroll please).......MRS. CHOWDARY!  Canyon Elementary is indeed lucky to have such a great secretary!

Canyon School has by far the best principal in the world.  Mr. Harlan truly cares about each of us here at Canyon Elementary.  We are so lucky!  

The sixth grade orchestras from around the district got together and performed a "Monster Concert".  The students from Canyon Elementary represented our school in a fantastic manner.  Thank you Mrs. Wangsgard for everything!

Thanks to our PTA for sponsoring another Fun Run.  This has quickly become a much anticipated event for our school.  This year the PTA added a fun twist.  Everyone was asked to wear a Super Hero shirt or outfit!  There were three different start times.  The 5-6 graders took off first, with the 3-4 following soon after.  K-2 then began their run.  At the conclusion of the race, everyone enjoyed a popsicle.  What a fun way to keep in shape!
