Spring Canyon Middle School recently celebrated Literacy Week with a special visit from Heather Clark, the celebrated author of Lemon Drop Falls. Clark inspired our students by emphasizing that every person has a unique story to tell. She engaged students in discussions about their own stories, encouraging them to express the triumphs and challenges of their lives through writing. This empowering message resonated deeply, fostering a sense of confidence and creativity in our young authors.
In addition to Clark’s visit, the school spirit soared as Mrs. Thompson and Mrs. Signs joined us to invigorate our school chant: "We are the Wolves. We run as a pack. Hear us now, we've got each other's back. Positive, Acceptable, Courageous, and Kind. We do it every day. We do it all the time." Their enthusiasm embodied the spirit of our mascot, strengthening our community bond. We also celebrated students who exemplified these qualities by recognizing them as PACK leaders, offering them the best seat in the house! Congratulations to all our students for their achievements and dedication!
