All students at Canyon Elementary participate in the Ken Garff Road to Success Reading Program.  Students keep track of the days and number of minutes they read.  As motivation to read, Ken Garff and other local businesses, provide monthly incentives and 4 bicycles to be given away during the school year.  When Canyon students read every day, they can earn entry slips for the bicycle drawing.  To kick of the Ken Garff Reading Program, magician Paul Brewer, entertained the students with magic tricks while telling them the importance of reading eve
