All Students are Safe

Submitted by brittany.neilson on Wed, 03/29/2023 - 11:27

All students and faculty at Spanish Fork High are safe.  This was a false report of an active shooter at Spanish Fork High.  Police responded quickly and lock down protocol was immediately put into place.  Police swept the building and have deemed it safe.
As a result your school was either on lockdown or lockout for a short period of time.

We appreciate the quick reaction of our local law enforcement and administration.

Literacy Month- Reading tickets

Submitted by brittany.neilson on Tue, 03/28/2023 - 10:30

It's our final week of Literacy Month here at Canyon. Reading tickets have been sent home (yellow or green depending on grade level). Every time they complete the corresponding number of minutes read they can add their ticket to the boxes in front of the office for a daily prize drawing. Any type of reading counts: Reading on their own, being read to, listening to an audiobook, etc. On Friday there will be a school-wide read-a-thon.

Happy reading!
