A Christmas Without Santa?
Oh no! A Christmas without Santa would be awful, but don't worry. In a play by Mrs. Perkin's fourth graders, we learned that Mrs. Claus is perfectly capable of filling in if necessary! Thanks to all the performers.

Our third graders were busy as elves. They were making Gingerbread Houses. We have some fantastic future architects on our hands, if their finished products were any indication!
Christmas Carols are wonderful, and they're even better when performed by third graders. Thank you Miss Nuttall's class for bringing the Spirt of Christmas into our lives.
The Kindergarten students recently received letters straight from the North Pole. They had written letters earlier and were excited to receive these letters in return. Their sixth grade buddies were on hand to help them read the letters. Reading Buddies are the best!
Are you missing any coats, mittens, hats or lunch boxes? The "Lost and Found" items have been placed on tables in the center hall. It's great to hear, "Oh yeah! Here's my coat!" Come take a look if your lost item has been "lost" and is waiting to be "found".
The ASL (American Sign Language) Club from SFHS came Christmas Caroling at Canyon Elementary. It was fun and educational. Thank you!
The Students of the Month for November have been recently announced. Congratulations to these students for doing lots of little things to be BIG.
It is a great honor to be of service. Canyon students have participated in not one, but two service projects this Christmas. Thanks to the Student Council for helping manage these projects. First, Canyon students donated food to a local food bank and second, they were able to work with SFHS Letterman's Club and donate teddy bears to "ride along with a cop" and comfort children in terrifying situations. Service really does make a person feel good!
Canyon students were treated to an amazing Christmas Concert. Our very own sixth graders have been playing in the Orchestra for a few short months, but presented a wondrous concert. Thank you for sharing your talents!
We have several students who won the Reflections Contest at the District level. Their entries will now move on to the Region Competition. Congratulations and good luck!
