Students in Mr. Zach Evans' class performed skits on physical vs chemical change. These fifth grade students were divided into groups and wrote skits. They have been exploring the difference between physical and chemical change. As students worked together, they wrote skits to solidify their understanding. The class enjoyed watching each other perform.

It was a great week at Canyon with Kindergarten classes up and running. These students are excited and ready to begin the year. We are glad to have all of our students back in session. 

Students in Sandy Nilson's first grade class learned about "The Kindness Thing". These first graders learned and practiced how to be kind throughout the day in a variety of situations. They are even learning a song all about being kind. Way to go Mrs. Nilson's class!

School is back in session and we are off to a great start! Canyon Elementary is a great place to be!

All students are to register online – even our kindergarten students who pre-registered in March are to go through the ONLINE Registration process. ONLINE Registration will open July 25, 2018.  Elementary WALK-IN Registration will be held on August 1, 2018 with computers available at the school.  Once you have completed the registration process, Teacher Assignment(s) will be available using Aspire; Aspire/SIS Access

Thank you for supporting our Summer Library.   There is a change and the library will not be open on it's scheduled Wednesday July, 25th.   Normal library hours will begin starting August 20th.
