LaVerne Higginson and Julie Higginson

LaVerne Higginson is a volunteer Grandma Helper in the kindergarten classes at Canyon Elementary.  Grandma Higginson recently celebrated a milestone birthday by turning 90.  The boys and girls were so excited to wish her a happy 90th birthday that they could hardly wait for her to walk through their classroom door.  Grandma Higginson brings so much love to the students and teachers she works with.  She has been volunteering as a Grandma Helper for over 13 years.  LaVerne's daughter-in-law, Julie Higginson, also works at Canyon Elementary as the school secretary.  Happy 90th Birthday, Grandma Higginson!
