The amazing PTA at Canyon provided a lovely lunch for our teachers today, and chips and salsa from Salsa Madre yesterday!  Thank you to our amazing Canyon teachers for all that they do, and to the PTA for celebrating our teachers this week.

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week at Canyon!  We are so grateful for our lovely PTA who have planned a fun week for our teachers.  Breakfast this morning was a great way to start our Monday. Thank you PTA volunteers!

President's Day

We hope you had a happy President’s Day weekend! Miss Nuttall’s class studied and learned about two of our founding fathers last week, George Washington and Abraham  Lincoln.  We are grateful to live in the country that we do!

Special Delivery

Canyon Elementary Students drop off a special delivery!  These students wrote thank you notes to the teachers and staff members who work hard every day to help them succeed.

 

Give Kids a Smile

Volunteer dentists and hygienists from UVU School of Dental Hygiene, and The Utah Dental
Center have volunteered to do an introductory cleaning and assessment of what dental work will
need to be done. After qualifying to participate in this program, you will receive a voucher with
information about the location you will make an appointment with. After this cleaning, you will
be referred to a participating dentist, who you will make an appointment to see in order to
receive the dental care recommended.

3rd Grade January Art

Seeing that we haven’t gotten much snow in our mountains this year, we decided to create a winter scene for our January hall  art and added in our own snow.
