The Utah SNAP (Student Neighborhood Access Program) is a program that promotes students to find safe walking routes to school, and to either walk, bike or scooter to school 4 out of 5 days of the week!

Many of our Canyon students do this, but there were several that kept track of their "walk more in 4" days on a calendar, and turned it in to be entered to win a prize.

SNAP randomly selcted about 100 winners across the Wasatch Front.  Canyon's very own 2nd grader Bryant Froelich in Miss Young's class won a new scooter and helmet! The SNAP representative surprised him in class, and he got to use his scooter that very same day going home from school!

Good job to all those that are "walking more in 4" and staying safe getting to and from school!
