Canyon Second Grade Scientists

Submitted by calleen.argyle on

Mrs. Chantelle Oppie's second-grade students at Canyon Elementary are studying the physical properties of matter and how different materials respond to change. While working in groups, they wrote on posters their observations about the properties of some objects that they were given, such as tin foil, paper clips and pipe cleaners. Then they got to make some physical changes to the objects and they recorded their observations again, noting the changes. Students got to share their findings with the rest of the class.
