We are proud to be American and are grateful for our constitution. James Sitterud, Axel Schuller, Brody Smith, Dallin Cheshire, Lincoln Frame, Gage Bowen, and Jack DeFreese from Miss Nuttall's class wore their scout shirts in support of Constitution Day.
Canyon Elementary held its annual Constitution Day flag ceremony. Boy Scouts presented the flag in front of the student body as they gathered around the flag pole. Students and staff recited the pledge and sang a patriotic song. It's great to be a Canyon Cougar Cub and we're proud to be Americans!
Canyon third graders went to the Storytelling Festival at Thanksgiving Point. Bill Lepp and Anne Rutherford are amazing storytellers who helped our third graders believe in the power of storytelling. How many future storytellers do you see in the crowd?
Mark your calendars for Monday, September 23 from 4:30-7:30 pm for the Canyon Elementary "FUN"draiser Carnival!
